I can’t begin to express how much I’d like some sort of normality next year......
Noticed tweets from Bluedot & Camp Bestival making (hopefully) back to normal in 2021 noises.....
Being realistic I’m not counting any early in the year festival / gig chickens (to avoid crushing disappointment) but have hopes for later on in the year......

Not confident for Wh Lung in February more hopeful for Sportsteam in April. Download festival is the first big one of the year 4 June if that goes ahead hopefully Glastonbury will be on.

I'd just like to be able to get back to see my kids for Xmas! Forgive my ignorance.....but....isn't it the case that you just come back to the UK, then isolate for 2 weeks, then yr fine to see yr family? Or am I, as usual, missing something?

Dunno what you know, but I would humbly recommend CLT DRP (electro tinged punky wonderness), OHHMS (OH THE RIFFS!!! THE MIGHTY RIFFS!!!!), We Lost The Sea (my wife would call this 20 minute ident music. ITs what she called GY!BE.....), A Burial At Sea (happy post rock?) and The Guru Guru (bit bonkers math-esque rock). And, obviously, headliner Vennart. The new album is a smash!

Apart from the fact that I need MoM approval to return to Singapore (no guarantee I'll get it) and the two weeks solitary confinement in a government run hotel when I arrive back here there's the $2,000 fee for the privilege of doing quarantine plus $200 for C19 test plus cost of test before leaving UK plus ordering in food everyday in quarantine cos the prison slop they serve is inedible... it costs a fortune, it's full of risk, it means another four week in total of incarceration. I'll probably still do it though!

CLT DRP - Nope! Ohhms - yes, though possibly not as a work soundtrack. We Lost the Sea - I'm loving the extended idents. Nice.

It's what Mrs Moz and friend kept saying Godspeed You Black Emperor was when we saw them in Barcelona. A BBC ident that went on for 20 minutes. They are fools. I really like CLT DRP! Angry feminist rock you can boogie to....cest la vie...

End of the Road are taking an optimistic view and announcing 2021 Looks good too - including W.H. Lung (some of you may have heard of them) Excellent line-up and apart from WHL you also need to hear of the likes of Dry Cleaning, Lazarus Kane and Skullcrusher. Already got my ticket so we just need it to happen as the thought of 2 years, no festivals is beyond depressing.
PS. If you've been watching Industry on BBC, you may just have noticed WHL featuring on the soundtrack.

Tell her you are the man of the house and that your word is law. Obviously do this from a position of cover. On a more serious note have you considered begging & pleading?

I know there is gdpr and so on, but when did little L become 'the kid'...? And have you explained just what a nightmare you'll be to have around home that weekend?
