So.....we finished season 3 of Orange Is The New Black......an it was a season of MANY frustrations! I identify a nucleus of an amazing TV show in there. The private company running the prison is ripe for lots of comment about cost cutting measures etc which were only mildly dealt with. There is too many sub polts with people i dont care about (i do not like alex. Neither the character OR the person playing her.) And the last episode, witht he last 15 minutes was......pointless.
VERY frustrated & ever so slightly disappointing, then. And now.....we go back to Game OF Thrones.....with dragons & Orcs and dubius sexual politics and people dying and an air of pointlessness.

OK...so....thanks to the great USA Netflix, I watched the first series of Broadchurch. 2years too late. I like the fact that i didn't have to watch it on itv. And only one episode a week. Suckers!!!
It was.....Just OK. Not Brilliant at all. 2 major things bothered me though. Firstly, whenever there was a montage scene of everyone watching a news report or press conference, everyone is watching itv news. Now, this is bollocks. NO one would be watching itv. Surely it's gonna be the bbc....Secondly, every plot turn is because of someones paedophillic past. This is also bollocks. Are we REALLY to believe that there are that many paedophiles in a small town? Bollocks.
Here endeth the moan.

Funny thing, TV. I think it's an addiction. And because I have been on the road for most of the last three months, I think I may have gone through cold turkey. I suddenly find myself, for the first time in my life, not wanting to watch it (unless it's "must see" live sport). It's a bit weird.

Polished off the all 7 seasons of Sons of Anarchy over the last couple of months. Very violent but if that doesn't bother you and if you liked Breaking Bad then this is for you. Brilliant!

Polished off the all 7 seasons of Sons of Anarchy over the last couple of months. Very violent but if that doesn't bother you and if you liked Breaking Bad then this is for you. Brilliant! I am slowly getting through this. Half way through season 6. I wouldnt say its brilliant (Breakind Bad is MILES better). IT has LOTS of faults. But...it has my attention and is quite good. And the unintentional homo eroticism is fun to watch. What i will say (whilst trying not to give any plot away) is....i think you are supposed to sympathise with Jax (and his nightmare ma.). But, for me, i am rooting for his wife Tara much more. I think, in that position (bearing in mind im up to season 6, episode 8), i would be doing what Tara is doing too.... I think i havent spoilt anything.... (edit : Yeesterday i finished season 6. Fuck me. ITs all gone fucked up, isnt it?)

So, the best thing on TV right now? Well it isn't on TV, it is Matt Berninger's live youtubes being put on El Vy's fb site. I love him. Probably want children by him.

Jessica Jones on netflix is just so so so good! Loved the graphic novels and the tv series is doing it justice.Very adult like the books (well Alias not the sequel The Pulse, which was toned down).Definitely recommend.

I was 3 things. One in bed (currently the EXCELLENT Curb Your Enthusiasm), one with manda (Hannibal. Very good), and one on my own. I have just finished Sons OF Anarchy. It is ridiculous. But, i would like to believe, with a tongue slightly in its cheek. The end was crap (but then, what HAS ended well. Apart from 6 feet under.....), but the journey there was good.

We nearly agree on everything there!!! (Not seen CUE though, any good??). Loved Hannibal. Sons, yes ending so predictable and cheesy but must admit I did enjoy it all! And the only series to ever end absolutely brilliant was 6 feet under! Just finished The Man in the Iron Castle. Very good but a bit strange. And the ending!!!! My god!!!!

Buffy the vampire slayer, Angel and Fringe are three that spring to mind immediately that ended brilliantly, with the complete destruction of Sunnydale, a dragon and the elimination of an entire timeline respectively.

Why does it seem odd that we are in agreement? ;p I love Curb...being a BIG Seinfeld fan, its great to see Larry David just.....being like George Costanza. Only much more so. And i am very much intrigued by Man in the Iron Castle. Although i wont get another tv/streaming service, as there is already WAY too much to watch. But i will catch it on the dvd's. And.....Ethereal.....dont let Manda catch you singing the virtues of the ending of Angel. I havent watched it, but manda loves all that Buffy/Angel stuff.....and.....she said the ending to Angel is the WORST ending of anything ever! She also says the Sons ending is pretty close to being the worst (she saw the ending), but not as bad. which is something.... yeah. She gets SO angry talking about the ending to Angel.

Buffy ending was brill, Angel felt rushed but that was probably because it was cancelled at the beginning of the season. And carrying on the Joss love how good was Firefly!!!?? Enjoyed Dollhouse too.
