Actually, I'm struggling a bit with this at the moment, which maybe I just haven't had a chance to play it enough to absorb the fairly large change of musical direction. And it maybe because I'm totally pissed off that his one announced London date is my least favourite London venue, the O2 Forum Kentish Town, which I'd be quite happy to never go to again - but needs must? Jury still out.

The Good Place is ace. OK, season 3 is a little convoluted. But the last season makes up for it. And the final episode?!?! Best ending of a programme ive seen for a VERY long time.

Thoroughly enjoying Michaela Coel and I May Destroy You - Superb acting and a cracking storyline...One of those programmes that is over so quickly and you can’t wait for the next episode, and yet you don’t want it to come to an end...

bit of a thread resurrection post, but hopefully justified.
'Anne' just aired episode 1, and apart from a tiny gripe that the morning after 15.04.89 was a grey not sunny day in Sheffield, this has started well and Maxine Peake is immense.
I'm glad this is being shown. X

'Anne' was quite the most important TV series I have ever seen. not only an immense performance from Peake, but it tells truth to fundamental unfairness. #HillsboroughLaw

Still slightly weirded out by the fact that Anne was made over three years ago, but yes, excellent stuff.

Obi Wan Kenobi isn’t that good…. We've just finished it. It isn't bad as such, but there is almost no point whatsoever to it existing, it adds almost nothing at all to the OWK story. Plus a lot of the CGI/effects look like they were created at the same time as the prequels - possibly intentionally tbf.

Has anyone else watched the Woodstock 1999 doc on Netflix? www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/trainwreck_woodstock_99/s01It's compelling (and utterly appalling) viewing for any festival goer. Useful reminder for me of just why I fell so badly out of love with rock music in the late 90s - Nu metal and bro culture was bloody awful!

Absolute shocker...read up about it people had to camp on tarmac because there wasn't enough room which must have been nice as it was 100f also the two main stages where 2.5 miles apart!

I should also add that, whilst I am on record as hating limp bizkit and EVERYTHING they stand for musically, ethically and morally, seeing that sea of bodies bouncing in unison? It did look pretty amazing. I know RATM played after durst's dunces. I assume it would have been the same crowd reaction. In 1999? I would have LOVED to have been in there.
And then I'd wanna leave the day after due to getting trench mouth.

And indeed most of the nu metal movement.

You're right, it wasn't on the same scale, but probably the biggest bouncing crowd I've been part of. China Drum in the tent that year was prob even more bouncy, just on a smaller scale again.
