Yep glad to see. I'm 95% getting a Friday ticket for Pulp but had been holding back on a few more names before pulling the trigger.

What are everyone's hopes/predictions? I'm guessing Blossoms, Wet Leg and Confidence Man will pop up somewhere. I could also see Cat Burns being added to the Sunday as she's supporting Ezra on a few dates. Could also see a dance and punk based tent headliner added as well I'm excited to see what they have in store

Who's on the radio 2 playlist? That's who's playing.

M83, Bonobo, Leftfield all shouts for a big dance act I reckon.

I'd absolutely be down for M83, loved them in 2016 and they'd be really cool in the tent I was possibly going to throw Idles into the mix. It says they're an exclusive for Jamie T at Finsbury but the exclusive tag counts for very little nowadays

Reckon it’s Wet Leg and/or Blossoms

I would be surprised to see Wet Let or Blossoms, as these could probably headline in their own right. Not sure there would be enough budget left.
Would love to see Idles, Shame, Dream Wife or Inhaler added to bill. Placebo have a gap in their European tour that weekend, and Fatboy Slim has a new Best Of out....although both might be too expensive.

My dream booking would be Nile Rodgers and Chic, it would be a real fun addition. They're active around the UK that weekend so it could be a possibility?

James with full orchestra and gospel choir... confirmation of the demise of a festival.

A few decent additions there but overall for me I'd say pretty underwhelming and tbh the lineup is all over the place!

Well, this place isn't exactly buzzing with excitement at the line-up news, is it?
Despite what is said earlier in the thread, I quite fancy James in the summer Sunday sun.
We said we definitely weren't going this year but with Pulp, Confidence Man, James, Young Fathers and others spread across the weekend I'm becoming slowly tempted. Some half-decent comedians too.

So we’re looking at a Pulp/Yard Act clash. Why do they do this?

I really only know about five more names on the lineup than the last announcement, but the idea that it's very Radio 2 is bollocks. It's a poppy and indie festival, but there's still far more diversity than you get on Radio2. And for people complaining that there are too many throwbacks, what has come through in the world of indie rock in the last ten years that's big enough to replace the older names? If it was someone like 1975 or Blossoms, it would still be accused of being too Radio 2 or too young. FFS everyone was pissed off when Florence was booked.
There is nothing in this announcement that I really love that makes me want to buy a ticket, but I really love the festival, the site, the food, the atmosphere, the stuff I didn't know before I got there and so I will be buying an overpriced weekend pass and bringing as many people along with me as possible.

So we’re looking at a Pulp/Yard Act clash. Why do they do this? Yard Act have confirmed they won't clash. Sounds like they will end that stage early so everyone can see Pulp. I'm well happy with the additions. Was only going for Friday and Dry Cleaning, Yard Act, Murder Capital, English Teacher etc are great additions.

I know I live under a rock. But I’ve not heard of half of these performers…. George Ezra headlined recently. I don’t want to hear a band with an orchestra unless I’m in the royal albert hall and there’s nothing ‘fun’ to make up for it.
I know I’m still angry that I missed chemical brothers whilst I took shelter in a tent suffering with three children ravaged by norovirus… but that year was a great line up. I had hoped it would stay that way going forward. Nile rogers I was hoping would make the cut. Great performance guaranteed and so so so many good songs.
The other thing that pisses me off is with this line I’ve barely any chance of getting friends to join….
#cryface
As always kids don’t care. Happy and willing to go… the vibe does go a long way…..

Not out of the question I'll rock up that day.

So we’re looking at a Pulp/Yard Act clash. Why do they do this? If you look on Yard Act's Facebook page announcing their attendance they say that they will not clash with Pulp. Sorry, I see I've been beaten to it by faster typers!
