Hello. I am/was a user (and moderator) of the Official Latitude Festival Forum. As of this date (15/11/14), it still exists. However, sometime in the future, it will no longer exist. This is sad. Now, a request was put to Efestivals to have its own dedicated Latitude board, which they agreed to, happily. HOWEVER......due to.......what will be called an 'incident', some people are not allowed onto the efestivals forum or even refuse to use them (There is no judgement here. I am a efestivals user for other festivals and will use the Latitude one too). And also, some of us do not like or use Facebook. BUT......i thought it would be sad that these people would be able to interact with other uber fans of this BRILLIANT festival. SO....im gonna try/have tried to recreate a forum which has all the pluses of the nearly dead/died official forum had but without the minuses (hopefully, none of the spam). So......WELCOME! Feel free to comment on anything, and PM me with any queries, or hints as to how to improve this place. The only requirement there is for being on here is that you are a fan of one of the best festivals in this 'ere dear old blighty. Thank you. Moz x (An update : As of today (21st April 2015), Efestivals decided not to continue with a dedicated Latitude board, as there was not enough 'traffic' to warrant such a thing. This is disappointing. IT does mean though that, if your looking to talk about Latitude in an old skool forum style, this is the place to do so)

Good work Moz! Can't claim to have been a regular contributor to the old forums but always liked to keep up to date with rumours etc for the Festival.

Have just been reading aidyb's post on the about to be ex-forum :
"If I was to add my 2 peneths in, I would say its because this forum hasn't got an app, forums are a PC based medium really and this is the age of smart phones and tablets after all, (even though I'm posting this from a tablet) most people look for apps, I did notice the alternative forum that somebody kindly set up, do have an app, which looks promising.
Sorry if the whole app business has been brought up further along in the thread but I only got to page 2 and couldn't keep my gob shut, its a travesty I tells ya, Don't do it, give us an app... "
And having acquired a brand new shiny mobile on Thursday, which unlike my old basic Nokia has apps and stuff, I've been spending the weekend figuring out how to use it and loading apps. Anyway opened this forum up via the Chrome browser on the new mobile and got prompted "Follow The Unofficial 'Official' Latitude Festival Forum with Tapatalk for Android" and the options to Open in app or Install. Installed the app, and then clicked Open in app, to which the reply was "This forum is not available in Tapatalk. Please contact your forum admin."
So, have I missed something, or are we in the hands of our esteemed administrator on this?

Hi everyone! Frequent reader, occasional poster, to old forums here. Thanks for creating this - efestivals/facebook wouldn't have been the same.

And so the army grows...
at this rate, by next Latitude, there'll be enough of us to fill The Alcove!

Hi Moz & Co., I haven't been to Latitude but if I can join in the chat I expect it won't take long for me to become convinced that I should go
