I'm looking at booking a Saturday ticket this year to take my oldest, and best friend on a 'Hen-Do' to celebrate her getting married!
She took me to see The Prodigy at the Ally Pally last year for my 'Stag-Do' and I want to up the anti a bit!

Hello everyone! Just discovered this forum today. I've never attended Latitude Festival before, came close about 3 years ago, I even purchased the ticket but something came up and I never attended (Something I regret).
I'm a massive fan of music and love going to gigs and festivals, I've been attending Reading Festival since 2009. But there's always been something about the look of Latitude Festival that really appeals to me, right down to the line up. So I've always wanted to go and I'm thinking this year might be it, but I've yet to buy a ticket. Something I'm hoping to do before the end of the month. I've already booked the time of work, I've been a little unsure because I'd be going on my own, so was wondering if there is a camp loner group or something?

You'd be after Billy Loads A Mates - they're are a number of posts about them here but basically it's a friendly bunch of singletons who camp together (or not if preferred) and generally help out - the camping area even gets on the map.
Despite the grumbling about the line up, Latitude is a fun friendly festival so you'll have a great time

Billies are not just singletons even though that was the original idea. We have couples that live together that started as single billies. Last year we had a wedding renewal, the year before a coronation. And who knows what will happen this year (well maybe a few of us do, could involve a inflatable shark and peanut butter). More the merrier, come join. Sit and watch or join in, it's up to you. One rule...no talk about politics (or footie, I had to concede that for the no politics).
