Article I've just seen has said the next announcement will be before Christmas so probably late November/early December time I'm not the biggest fan but it's a pretty iconic name to have on board, bodes well for the rest of the acts!

Duran Duran self announced as headlining one of the nights. Think we've been predicting that for years.

I think that's a really good Latitude booking. A bit unexpected, not a band who have been over-booked elsewhere and a rare band I've never got round to seeing. Let's hope there's great stuff to follow (and that I'm in the country to enjoy it!)

So. Haim, Duran Duran, Sigrid (somewhere)…
Maybe Liam but dressed fully in denim, perched on a stool and looking like James Taylor singing Sweet Baby James?
Sat’s headliner notwithstanding, this year was pretty varied (altho I would have loved to see Warmduscher again) and maybe the rain then bodes well for a sunny one next year.
At least one (local) friend is definitely now in, which is a good start, I think I’m in. Ipswich now has a thriving indie music scene - Sound City has progressed to Brighten The Corners and has some excellent bands over three vg venues. Worth a look, if you’re nearby or passing through.
Also, how times change - when I started coming we sat by the (internet) on a Monday in early March waiting for the headliners as the tickets went on sale. The beer was good. The tickets were about a third of what they are now. What cost of living crisis, eh?

Another idea I've had, but possibly Hozier? He's doing lots of outdoor dates next summer and would probably be the right sort of size for it Duran Duran were supported by Nile Rodgers and Chic on their last tour, they'd be a sensational sub if they appeared together

Just filled in a survey to win free tickets which is basically a questionnaire on who you'd like to see at Latitude 2024 (Headliners included). Seems weird that they're sending this out now - surely a lot of the bookings would be done & dusted by now?

I did wonder the same but they could be using it for other future editions, if they have some of the acts on there maybe they're using it to sort placements based off who's most popular There were lots of realistic acts on there so it's promising

Following an enforced 2 month break from gigs as I recovered from a hip replacement op, I've been making up for lost time this week with visits for some crackings gigs to The Lexington (Lo Moon), 100 Club (Alphabet, Damefrisor, Egyptian Blue) and The Jericho Tavern (The Joy Hotel, Deadletter). So why am I posting in this thread? Speaking to The Joy Hotel, it seems they will be at Latitude next year. I guess you may not have heard of them yet; they are a 7-piece band from Glasgow, give them a listen, they are definitely worth catching, I'm hoping to see them again soonish.

It's just a guess but killers are doing a UK tour next year so could be another possibility of a headliner

Not that it means much but they've said the next news is soon which they only normally do about 2 weeks an announcement, could it be end of the month/start of December time?

TRNSMT lineup is out, they usually share a few acts so could see some of these popping up Interesting they've always shared a headliner since 2017, could LG be on the cards?

If we know anything about Latitude, the headliners are usually the weakest part! I'm sure there will be plenty of great stuff all over the bill, hopefully not too long until we get a few more names
Speaking of which... did some digging and Nile Rodgers and Chic have self confirmed for the Sunday! That will be a very fun set indeed

I can see them subbing Duran, they've been supporting them all summer and Sunday now seems to be their more chilled Radio 2 style day

I've no idea in terms of her schedule but have been thinking that Charli XCX could be due a big slot? Probably too big for the tent now you'd think. One to pull the kids in definitely.

Perhaps a main stage sub? She'd be a great addition imo Looks as if there's an announcement this week, probably Friday or Monday by the sounds of the ticket sales

Looks like Haim on Friday, Duran Duran Saturday and Nile Rodgers on Sunday. Is it me or does anybody else find it funny that they are withdrawing ticket sales on Saturday only to open them up to pre-sales for Barclaycard and 3 Mobile customers on Sunday. Also looks like they may be increasing the ticket prices after Saturday

Anyone else got anymore hopes or predictions? I'm genuinely clueless to the other headliners but my theory currently is:
Obelisk
Friday Haim (no indication theyre touring but I think they'll have a female headliner/female fronted act) Wet Leg
Saturday Liam Gallagher Blossoms
Sunday Duran Duran Nile Rodgers and Chic
BBC Sounds
Friday Johnny Marr
Saturday PJ Harvey
Sunday Idles
Also appearing I could see Arlo Parks, Ash, BC Camplight, CMAT, Declan Mckenna, Echo and the Bunnymen, Gabrielle, Jessie Ware, Jungle, Keane, The Last Dinner Party, The Lathums, Raye, Sigrid, Simple Minds, Softplay, Status Quo, Suede, Texas, Tom Grennan and Tom Odell
I obviously don't expect them all to be there but they seem the right sort of acts who could appear on the lineup
I'm guessing they'll announce the full lineup on Monday and possibly the other headliners over the weekend on the radio
