I am but unfortunately couldn't get Thursday and friday off so heading down about 4pm on Friday. Falls this year in school holidays and I had two weeks off at the beginning On the bright side it means you’ll miss the horrific weather tomorrow 😁 I have to say whilst the headliners left us a bit meh, it’s a belting undercard this year.

It is a bonus not having to put the tent up in the rain!

Slightly jealous that you'll have the opportunity to see KGATLW playing stuff off their amazing new album - their take on thrash metal, it is ace. Otherwise its mostly a line-up that doesn't grab me at all this year, though obviously lots in the undercard that I don't know and will probably be great. Check out Floodlights if you get the chance, they were great at Green Man. Edit: further recommendation for eotr. We saw Friendship in Ipswich last night, and they were excellent. Slow paced indie with a hint of Americana.

Decided to go for the Friday day ticket.
Basically we’ll camp in Chalk for the day as £25 to see Panic Shack, Steve Mason, Porridge Radio and Public Service Broadcasting is a bargain on anyones book.

Hi chaps, Sadly after our 9th Latitude, we probably won't be going in 24. The "additions" such as poetry, dance, opera, pandora's playground as it used to be etc. all gone Also the walk from campervans is too much now. Watching full tractors going past our stop full of teenagers was the last straw (I now have to use a walking pole) Anyone been to Bluedot with any thoughts or opinions please?

Yes - we’ve been once in 2019 and would go again for the right line up (mainly because it’s miles away from us). Certainly considering it for 24… Musically - we enjoyed it even though it was pushing a bit far down the electronica end for us. New Order in front of a mainly Manc crowd was an experience. The Halle Orchestra on the Thursday (a regular thing) was impressive. Non-music - the science talks were absolutely fascinating and a real highlight for us. Don’t remember literature or poetry though. There was also an art trail. Site - the Lovell telescope is incredible as they project stuff onto it - we had 24 hr reruns of the moon landings in 2019. Ground wise not so good - we had terrible weather and it quickly turned into a midden (particularly as one set of the composting loos leaked) but I think they were caught out my how bad the weather was. Food - pretty much what you see at most festivals (so cheaper than Latitude). Main plus point was the pasty van. Kids - there were a fair number of kids but small ones in trolleys rather than teens. The only other thing of note was there were a fair amount of illegal substances being consumed and Amy doing a ketamine deal with some dodgy bloke outside our tent at 3am……

Hello!
So....I need help from anyone who might have been to the Pitchfork festival in london town. ME and the partner are going to the 'dalston takeover' thing on the 11th. Does anyone know if it goes on till very late or is it a 'finish at 11' deal?
Just wanna know if we should book a room in london town or not is all.
Thanks. x
