I am currently reading 'Dont Need The Sunshine' by John Osborne. I likes him. This book is about the seaside of the UK. HE did a reading of it last year at latitude.

Buried Giant by that posh Jap guy....thinking: fantasy genre is strictly for chumps,,,,then that Paul Mason does a marxist critique in Guardian t'other day. Then one remembers Mr Mason works for channel 4, and thus is something of a massive chump...then again, so is Kazuo Ishiguro....He should do a gig a latitude, would fit right in.
Also reading Phillip Hoare's the Sea Inside, which is brilliant. And the author is something of a UK indie icon. everyone should read this book. Pale Fountains were rubbish though.

I bloody KNEW there was a books thread on here somewhere....
Anyways, I've been listening to quite a few audiobooks. I'm assuming that counts.
I humbly recommend Simon Williams 'Pandamonium' and Miki Berenyi 'Fingers Crossed'. Both funny, tragic yarns.
