I saw that the other day. Some pretty good acts in there for a first announcement.

Noticed this pop up recently: Wild Fields. Seems to have a bit of a wanky element, but it's quite local for us (as is Latitude). Were we not going to Green Man, would probably give this a go at around £150 for the weekend...

Green Ma is frustrating. The undercard is actually really raither decent! However....the headliners are VERY 'meh'. And, as I go with my kid (I also go with my partner, obviously), the undercard is kinda hit or miss if we get to see them. The headliners we can see.
I guess it will depend on who is actually headlining the 2nd stage. But still......mildly frustrated.

I'll have a great time during the day, but fear at least one night where I'll end up kicking my heels for the headline slot.

Anything new and Norfolk for 2025 might be worth a dig in to the who is organizing it

Hello everyone, it's been a while. Not really a festival but, could be interesting to see Henham park used in a different light, I've wanted to go to the Steam Rally for the same reasons. www.britishcountryshow.co.uk/

Hello sir. Hope all is well.
I have been to loads of steam rallys when I were a kid. My dad & grandad loved them.
However......steam engines are heavy. having a steam rally in the early days of spring? With all that rain? The ground will be fucked afterwards....

For what its worth that country show has been there before on Easter weekend - but it is weird being on site with different setting.
It's all up at the Obelisk end of the side but we did wander down to the bridges over the lake, I don't remember if it was last year or the one before...
Back on topic, have any of the locals done Harlequin Fayre? We'll have a 2 month old this time around so swerving all the bigger events but still craving a tent and a field a short drive away

Thanks both - this is the second one so it's a new set of challenges! The firstborn is now 4 and a half and has 2 Latitudes and a Glasto under his belt so he'll be fine in any field
I think we're giving it a go, will report back, bit further away from Henham as that's only 20 mins away
